Riding the shore once more

The Minnesota ATV Riders crew invites you to join us in July for Ride The Shore! With some of the most scenic views in the state paired with some of the best ATV and SxS trails in the state, Silver Bay is our go to! We will be once again mapping out an amazing route for riders to follow to see all the natural beauty that the area has to offer.

Ride the shore in 2026

There is no registration cost and no definite route you must travel, there is no maximum or minimum distance you must ride, this is a free ride weekend where the trails are yours to explore with friends and family. We will have map printed with the Minnesota ATV Riders "Selfie Station Tour" that will help make sure you're seeing all the scenic spots no one wants to miss! With literally hundreds of miles of trails to explore, be sure to prepare yourself for a full weekend of fun and adventure. So if you're into exploring old abandoned mobster hangouts, or want to skip rocks on the big lake from the shoreline of Black Beach, maybe you get excited to stand on the edge of what dubbed "The Little Grand Canyon" 150' rock face overlooking Hockamin Creek, or take in some panoramic views of lake Superior from the Blue Jay Vista overlook, or if you are one that just likes to hang out by a bubbling stream and listen to the water flow of one of the many rivers and waterfalls, Ride The Shore will provide all of that serenity and excitement.

Not only is Ride The Shore a great reason to check out some of the best trails, it's also makes a huge economic impact on the ATV friendly communities of Silver Bay, Beaver Bay, and Finland. But the biggest reason for the ride is to help raise money for The Minnesota Veterans Home! Money raised at RTS is donated directly to the Minnesota Veterans home Activities department. This allows Veterans to get out and enjoy all kinds of activities like fishing, RC car racing, bonfires, BBQ's, and yes even ATV riding!

Because of ATV/SxS riders and our sponsors, Minnesota ATV Riders has been able to raise over $20,000 for the Minnesota Veterans home
